When you think of Kentucky you probably think of bourbon, not wine. So it might surprise you to learn that Kentucky has a history of wine-making going back more than 200 years. In fact, the first commercial vineyard in the United States was created in Kentucky. Prohibition put a halt to Kentucky’s wine production for a time, but now it’s thriving again.
