Lisse is a Dutch-inspired steakhuis located in the historical MainStrasse Village area of Covington.  Featuring prime aged beef, signature cocktails, an expansive wine cellar, and cigar lounge, Lisse also boasts a third-floor rooftop patio that has incredible views of the Cincinnati skyline and the streets of Mainstrasse below.

Wunderbar, Covington

In German, the word wunderbar means wonderful or marvelous.  How lucky are we that we have our own Wunderbar right here in Covington!?  The menu is chock full of traditional German fare.  But don't worry, if you aren't a huge fan of German food, there are plenty of American options on the menu.  Or you could just fill up on pretzels with beer cheese and pundekas.

Eishaus & Frosthaus, Covington

Eishaus serves coffee drinks, light bites, and specialty, spaghetti eis—ice cream that’s squeezed through an extrusion device to resemble spaghetti noodles.  Dessert parlors in Germany squeeze gelato through potato ricers to give spaghetti eis noodle-like form. Eishaus has Americanized their offerings with both dairy and vegan vanilla ice cream that’s smothered in special sauces and toppings.  The icy younger sister of eishaus, frosthaus is the neighborhood spot for killer frozen drinks, a wide beer selection, a menu with a German flair (including some of our Oma’s special recipes), and desserts.

Hofbräuhaus Newport is the first authentic Hofbräuhaus in America, modeled after the legendary 400+ year-old Hofbräuhaus in Munich, Germany!  Guests enjoy many of the traditions from Germany that have made Hofbräuhaus famous--from the traditionally decorated rooms in the building to the beer that is brewed on-site, and of course the excellent German fare, Hofbräuhaus Newport is a memorable experience for all.
