Six Course Beer & Food Pairing at Alexandria Brewing Co. - January 10
Join Andy Reynolds, head brewer and CEO of Alexandria Brewing Company, as he walks you thorough each course, why each particular plate works with each beer, and teach you how to design your own beer and food pairing. All courses will be small plate style with either a 4 oz pour or half pint served with each.
Mascot Broomball - January 11
Calling all mascot fans! Come watch your favorite Cincinnati area Mascots lace up their skates to compete in the annual Mascot Broomball game at the ice rink on Fountain Square! This free match promises to provide plenty of comical thrills and spills, so bundle up and come prepared to cheer. Stick around for meet and greets and photos, then hit the ice and skate with your family.
Cathedral Concert Series - January 12
The Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption will resonate with festive music as the Cathedral Concert Series brings the season of Christmas to a close with "An Epiphany Epilogue" concert. The basilica brass quintet will feature seasonal and non-seasonal selections from a wide variety of traditions, offering something for music lovers of all ages.
Cincinnati Gymnastics Coaches Spectacular - January 17
Head to the Northern Kentucky Convention Center on January 17 to watch more than 2,000 gymnasts compete. More information and event schedule can be found on their website here.
You can enjoy this at the first Hofbrauhaus created in the U.S. on the 2nd Tuesday of every month! Bring the little ones for entertainment such as face painters, stilt walkers, balloon artists and a magician! Kids eat free with each adult entree purchase.
Pursuing His Dream: MLK Day at Cincinnati Museum Center - January 20
Join Cincinnati Museum Center on January 20 to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day with the 'Pursuing His Dream' Event. It will be a day filled with musical performances, vendors and lectures honoring the teachings of one of America’s most prominent activists and civil rights leaders.
Head to the American Sign Museum for Bourbon & Bites! Guests will be welcomed into the museum with a welcome cocktail (or mocktail!). Next, enjoy a tour of the museum where each stop will include a short demonstration by New Riff, a drink to taste, and paired light bites by The Phoenix Catering.
Snow Banks at The Banks - Weekends in January
Snow Banks at The Banks, a new attraction created by the retailers at The Banks, will be the "Greatest Show in Cincinnati Snow" featuring a dozen live snow features by an Academy Award-winning special effects producer with film credits including "Fargo" and "Planes, Trains and Automobiles" to name a few. The attraction will include a snow tube run, snow sledding hill, snow blizzards for snow selfies, horse carriage rides, hockey skill challenges, ice sculpture carvings, an ice bar, beer gardens, and acoustic performances.
