Covington, KY (Feb. 2, 2023) — Northern Kentucky-based Kona Ice hosted its 2023 Kona Ice Konvention at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center Feb. 2-5, 2023. Themed "Wild Wild Kona," the event brought nearly 1,000 franchisees of the shaved ice mobile truck company together, to learn and to celebrate their mission of giving back.
According to the Northern Kentucky Tribune – "A most perfect Ice Day is coming to NKY — 1200 Kona Ice franchisees celebrate, give back" — the company has donated more than $120 million to schools and community organizations since it was founded in 2007. The 2023 Konvention also benefitted the community by bringing a $1 million impact to Northern Kentucky.
