June 2, 2023 (CINCINNATI) — Concerted, a Greater Cincinnati-based nonprofit organization that connects nonprofit volunteers with free tickets to live events, is excited to announce their expansion with 150+ nonprofit partners and over a dozen entertainment partnerships including MEMI, The Andrew J Brady Center, The Cincinnati Reds, Riverbend Music Center, Megacorp Pavilion, PNC Pavilion, Taft Theater, Memorial Hall, Madison Theater, and more.
Concerted is working to revolutionize the live entertainment and music space in Ohio and Kentucky by making it more accessible for all members of the community. The model: donate your time with one of our nonprofit partners and earn free tickets to a live concert, comedy show, theatrical performance, or sporting event.
Concerted was founded in 2022 by a team of music industry professionals, nonprofit advocates, tech professionals, and community lovers with the goal of mobilizing live entertainment fans to contribute volunteer hours with local nonprofits in exchange for world class, live event tickets. Nonprofits typically report that recruiting new volunteers and building those relationships into reliable and recurring connections are two of their biggest obstacles they face. Concerted helps bridge this gap by offering incentives that get volunteers engaged and reward them for staying involved with our local nonprofits.
Concerted also expands accessibility by partnering with Metro to offer free public transportation to our volunteers.
"Concerted was built to connect communities, increase volunteerism, support nonprofits, and increase access to live entertainment and the arts. Our platform has volunteer opportunities across the city to connect people and communities because we believe that fighting intolerance starts by getting to know your neighbors." —Sarah Murray, Founder + CEO of Concerted
Music & Event Management, Inc. is a vital partner as Southwest Ohio’s largest live entertainment promoter and a fellow nonprofit with community at its core.
"MEMI believes in the community-building power of music, and we look forward to supporting Concerted's effort to encourage volunteering throughout our community." —Mike Smith, CEO of MEMI
To date, Concerted has partnered directly with 150+ nonprofits across Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky and is backed by the Haile Foundation and the Greater Cincinnati Foundation. The Concerted team and its partners are committed to the betterment of the Greater Cincinnati area by stoking community engagement, supporting fellow nonprofits, and increasing access to live culture events.
