The distillery's innovative **Sherry-finished Bourbon** was honored with the title of “Best Kentucky Finished Bourbon,” and the “World's Best Finished Bourbon." The World Whiskies Awards, organized by Whisky Magazine, celebrate excellence in whisky production worldwide. This year's ceremony showcased a diverse range of entries, with Wenzel Distillery's Sherry-finished Bourbon standing out for its exceptional quality and craftsmanship. In addition to this accolade, Wenzel Distillery is excited to announce its recent inclusion in both the Kentucky Bourbon Trail® and The B-Line®.
The Kentucky Bourbon Trail® offers enthusiasts a journey through the heart of bourbon country, while The B-Line® highlights Northern Kentucky's unique bourbon experiences. Joining these esteemed trails underscores Wenzel's commitment to sharing its rich heritage and premium spirits with a broader audience. Further enhancing the visitor experience, Wenzel Distillery is nearing completion of its facility expansion.
The upgraded distillery will feature guided tours of the production area, showcasing a state-of-the-art 500-gallon Vendome Hybrid Pot Still. This expansion aims to provide guests with an immersive insight into the art and science of bourbon making.
