Numerous historic rail artifacts are being preserved by volunteers working as part of a non-profit organization. The displayed collection is presented to visitors in a self-guided tour format and a printed "walking tour guide" is provided. The collection includes Pullman sleepers, engine cars, freight trains, box cars, flat cars, cabooses, troop carriers and more. The museum is an outdoor experience in a rugged railroad yard environment. There is limited shelter, so visitors should dress appropriately. Customized, guided group tour experiences and special events are available by appointment only. Open every Saturday year-round (weather permitting) from 10am-4pm. Admission fee is $4 for adults, $2 for children 10 & under. Minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
