Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. Everyone deserves the wedding of their dreams, and finding the venue is one of the most important parts. These are just a few venues among the wide range available here in the NKY and Cincy region.
Wedding Venues in Northern Kentucky
Carnegie Hall at Newport
Something old. Carnegie Hall at Newport offers an ornate setup for couples who appreciate a more historical ambience. Carnegie is all things charm and sophistication. They have everything from a posh marble foyer to a private lounge, and a grand ballroom with a stage. Included in their venue is a lovely outdoor terrace for photos and extra space.
Wiedemann Hill Mansion
A hidden gem of Newport is National Historic Landmark Wiedemann Hill Mansion. Its origins can be traced back to a local family in 1894. It has since gone under several period-appropriate restorations. This mansion boasts a rich history that brings authentic charm to a wedding.
Something new. For a scenic outdoor wedding, Devou Park has not one but two gorgeous event spaces to choose from. The intimate Devou Room comfortably seats 175 guests. It offers a lovely event space and patio overlooking the Devou Golf Course as well as the forested area surrounding the venue. Their second venue, the Drees Pavilion, is located on the highest overlook in Devou Park with room for up to 300 guests. Not far from either venue is the famed overlook of the Cincinnati and Covington skylines with breathtaking views and plenty of open space.
Something borrowed. In 2018, BB Riverboats purchased a retired casino riverboat. They renovated it to provide event space including a unique wedding venue. The new and improved boat offers a unique 225-person event space—the only one in the Cincy / NKY area that floats on the Ohio River.
For a rustic take on a traditional church wedding, Prickel Barn in Verona, Kentucky offers 200 acres of farmland with a 500+ capacity air-conditioned barn. This capacity level makes Prickel Barn one of the largest venues in Northern Kentucky.
Something blue. Newport Aquarium hosts weddings in their beautiful Riverside Room. The terrace overlooks the river and the spectacular Cincinnati skyline. And what’s a wedding at Newport Aquarium without access to the exotic marine life inside?
So much goes into planning the perfect wedding. But in Northern Kentucky, you won’t need to worry about finding the perfect venue to go with it.
