Day One
Arrive at NKY host hotel
Kick off the holiday season with a festive dinner cruise on BB Riverboats
Enjoy the sights of the season and holiday music as we cruise the Ohio River on the BB Riverboats Holiday Dinner Cruise.
Day Two
Breakfast at hotel
10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Spirits of Christmas Tour with American Legacy Tours
Learn about how the community of immigrants celebrated Christmas on a walking tour of 3 churches in historic OTR (Over-the-Rhine).
Noon Lunch at Taft's Ale House
Constructed in 1850 amidst the burgeoning brewing industry, St. Paul's Evangelical Church was once the oldest protestant church in the Queen City. Young Billy Taft may have even sauntered past, his cheeks still stained with gooseberry pie. Unbeknownst to him, this structure would carry on his legacy.
1:30 p.m. - 3 p.m. Lace up your skates and go ice skating on Fountain Square in Downtown Cincinnati
If skating isn't your thing, head to Saks Fifth Avenue to do some shopping for that special someone.
3 p.m. - 5 p.m. Visit Scuba Santa at Newport Aquarium
Each holiday season, Santa dons his scuba gear and swims with fish, sharks, turtles and more while interacting with the crowd of onlookers.
Evening Dinner at the Hofbräuhaus
The Hofbräuhaus Newport is modeled after the original 400+-year-old Hofbräuhaus in Munich, Germany. After your meal, explore the gift shop for a great beer stein find!
7:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. Enjoy the lights at Cincinnati Zoo's Festival of Lights
Cincinnati Zoo will be transformed into a “wild wonderland” for the PNC Festival of Lights! In addition to admiring the beauty of 2.5 million LED lights, visitors can watch a black-light puppet show, ride the train, search for fairies, snack on s’mores and marvel at the wild lights show on Swan Lake.
Day Three
Breakfast at Hotel
9 a.m. - 11 a.m. Spend some time shopping for perfect gifts
Explore a collection of wonderful shops in Bellevue, Ky., that offer unique products and items you can’t find anywhere else. From doll clothing & handmade furniture to custom jewelry & antiques, the shops in Bellevue are all within a few blocks and will keep you busy for hours.
11:30 a.m. - 1:15 p.m. Shake off the cold with a tour, taste and lunch at New Riff Distilling
New Riff’s state-of-the-art, gorgeous modern distillery houses a three-story copper column still producing Kentucky Bourbon and Rye Whiskey.
1:45 p.m. - 4 p.m. Catch a matinee performance of Cincinnati's own Nutcracker at Music Hall
Our nationally-celebrated holiday tradition returns to Music Hall after 11 years!
6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Dinner at Tousey House Tavern
Tousey House is an 1822 Federal style house serving traditional southern food including fried green tomatoes, hot brown, corn fritters, Kentucky beer cheese, and other fare including salads, sandwiches and
luscious entrees.
7:45 p.m. - 9 p.m. Dazzle in the true meaning of the holiday at the Creation Museum's Christmastown
Catch a glimpse of the amazing events that surrounded the wonder of our Savior’s birth. Enjoy dazzling lights, see the live nativity and have fun as you learn more about this special time of the year.
Day Four
Breakfast at Hotel
10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. See the trains, legos and Santa at Cincinnati Museum Center
Noon Lunch at Montgomery Inn Boathouse
Wear your bib while you enjoy mouthwatering ribs from this landmark Cincinnati restaurant that has been wowing visitors, locals and celebrities since 1951.
