Behringer-Crawford Museum becomes Holiday Central with its beloved Holiday Toy Trains, which have delighted Northern Kentucky families for generations. The exhibit includes over 250 feet of model train tracks, vintage Lionel and Plasticville trains, Thomas the Tank Engine and more than 30 moving, interactive displays. The opening will also include a special presentation, "Greetings from the White House," at 2 p.m. Join Dennis Smith as he discusses his unique collection of White House Christmas cards. Also on display will be Wiley Wahoo's Winter Wonderland, an animated exhibit based on the children's book by Kenton Hills author Diana Grady, "The Holiday Adventures of Wiley Wahoo & Me!" Just off the museum’s veranda, where the animated railroad display dazzles guests each year, is a jewel box of a gallery, Dickens Village, filled with hundreds of miniature, hand-painted, ceramic mansions, shops and figurines, all lit and decorated for the holidays. The exhibits run through January 1 and are free for museum members and included with museum admission for future members.
