HEALTH AND SAFETY PROCEDURES FOLLOWING COVID-19

meetNKY is actively monitoring developments surrounding coronavirus as well as the safety and health of our visitors is our top priority. We are fully engaged with local and state officials as well as our regional partners in Cincinnati and Ohio to coordinate a safe return to travel  for anyone visiting Northern Kentucky or the Cincinnati region. 

Hospitality partners in Northern Kentucky are planning to move forward to with your safety first in their plans. 

Northern Kentucky restaurants, bars and attractions have opened following the state's guidance for no more than 50% occupancy at any given time, enhanced safety protocols such as PPE for all staff, temperature checks for all staff and aggressive cleaning and sanitation procedures. Many restaurants have continued to offer a robust take out or delivery service in addition to the many dining options in the region. As of July 10, 2020 the Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky has issued an executive order mandating facial covers (masks) shall be worn in all Kentucky businesses. 

Northern Kentucky Convention Center

There are currently no events scheduled at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center and the center is operating in a closed to the public scenario. The NKYCC has implemented a full protocol for cleaning, sanitation and safety along Commonwealth of Kentucky and CDC Guidelines when events resume at the center. 

Hotels

In response to COVID-19, the American Hotel & Lodging Association has introduced the Stay Safe initiative with enhanced industry-wide cleaning standards.
