NKY and Cincy are gearing up to observe and celebrate Pride 2021 in June. Even though there won’t be parades this year due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, a slate of events has been announced on both sides of the Ohio river!

NKY Pride

Northern Kentucky has planned a variety of fun, thought-provoking, and memorable ways to celebrate Pride in Northern Kentucky.

Braxton Brewing Company Lifts One to Pride

One of the first Northern Kentucky Pride events will be held Thursday, June 3 at Braxton Brewing Company in Covington. They're having a tapping party for their special Pride release, Watermelon Wheat. The party includes a Drag show on the rooftop from 5-7. Check the Braxton Brewing Facebook Event for details. 

NKY Pridefest

The centerpiece this year is the 12th annual NKY Pridefest in Mainstrasse Village on Sunday June 6, from 12-5. Mostly taking place along 6th street between Goebel Park and the Goose Girl fountain, the Festival will feature an assortment of vendors, games, Drag shows, craft beer, and more.

Several arts-related events are also being planned to celebrate Northern Kentucky Pride, including a Walking Tour featuring art installations throughout Covington.

Cincinnati Pride

Across the river in Cincy, another big list of fun events has been scheduled for June.

Pride Market at the Park

Pride Market at the Park- a joint event with the Greater Cincinnati Gay Chamber of Commerce- happens Sunday June 27, from 11-4, at Washington Park and will feature LGBTQ-owned vendors.

Cincinnati Pride is also having a Pride film series, the Cincinnati Reds Pride Community Night on June 11, an evening rollerskating/walk event June 26, and more!

Cincy Black Pride

Cincinnati Black Pride has announced several events for June, including an art show which will open in NKY at the Creative House of Art and Design in Mainstrasse Village in Covington. 

A poster that reads Juneteenth Kickoff Party, hosted by Cincy Black Pride at Esoteric Brewery. June 18, 2021 from 9 pm until 1 am.

They are also planning a Juneteenth Kickoff party at Esoteric Brewing Company in the Walnut Hills neighborhood of Cincinnati. Check out the entire schedule of  2021 events for Cincy Black Pride.
