Is it really Lent in the Cincy region if you don't go to a fish fry every Friday night?! Although some of the fun of gathering with your friends and family at the local Catholic school's cafeteria is hindered by the pandemic, Covid can't steal all the joy! Local fish frys will still be happening, they'll just be drive-through or carryout only this year. All the more reason to make it a goal to visit as many as you can! NKY Lent Fish Frys 2021
St. Augustine, Augusta, KY
Featuring Icelandic cod, frog legs, or shrimp and accompanied by homemade hush puppies, Cole slaw, mac-n-cheese, hand-cut potato wedges, and dessert... you don't want to miss out on this one! The drive to Augusta is scenic and you might want to make an evening of it by riding the ferry across the river or sitting on the riverbank to enjoy your carryout meal (weather permitting, of course).

St. Augustine, Covington, KY
Fish or shrimp dinners with two sides, fish sandwich, shrimp dinner, cheese pizza, or cheese sticks--the options are endless! If you're in Covington, make a visit to St. Augustine. Credit cards are preferred, but cash is also accepted. Menu and details.

St. Bernard, Dayton, KY

St. Catherine of Siena, Ft. Thomas, KY
Drive through or walk up at Ft. Thomas' St. Catherine of Siena for touchless service. All orders will be placed and picked up outside the building to maintain social distancing. The delicious hand-breaded cod and side dishes everyone loves will be available!

St. Cecilia, Independence, KY
St. Cecilia is keeping it beautifully basic with cod fish and fried shrimp dinners. If you're craving more deep fried goodness, add an appetizer of mozzarella sticks or a side of fried pickles. You won't regret it!

Holy Cross High School, Covington, KY
Though their fish tacos have been temporarily removed from the menu, Holy Cross is still offering their delicious fried fish dinner, 8 piece shrimp dinner, baked fish dinner, and fried fish sandwich dinner. If you don't want seafood, you have the option to order a cheese pizza or grilled cheese, or make a meal of the side items, including Cole slaw, French fries, green beans, hush puppies, Mac and cheese, or stewed tomatoes.
